What This Service Involves

Efflorescence is the chalky white deposit that appears when moisture carries salts through brick, block, and stone to the surface, a constant issue in the damp Northwest. Plain water only re-dissolves and hides it temporarily, so we use a masonry-appropriate acidic treatment to break down and remove the crystals. The surface is neutralized and rinsed so the deposits are actually cleared rather than driven back in. Addressing the moisture source alongside the cleaning helps keep it from returning quickly.
