What This Service Involves

Cedar is prized around here for its rot resistance, but the same rain that makes it practical also feeds the black mildew and green algae that dull its warm tone. We use low-pressure soft washing so the soft grain never fuzzes or gouges the way it can under a high-powered wand. A cedar-safe cleaner draws out embedded mildew and lifts the surface gray without stripping the natural oils that protect the wood. Once it dries you'll see the reddish-brown color come back, ready for stain or sealer if you choose.
