Power Washing Precision. Exceptional Results.
Wash CMU block walls to clear the algae and efflorescence that thrive on porous concrete masonry.
Concrete block is highly porous, so Northwest moisture soaks in and feeds both green algae on the face and white efflorescence bleeding out of the block. We treat the biological growth and address the mineral crystallization with the right chemistry for each. Because block absorbs so readily, controlled application prevents streaking and uneven cleaning. Fences, foundations, and commercial block walls all come back looking uniform.
Clears algae from highly porous block faces; Addresses white efflorescence bleeding from the masonry; Prevents streaking on absorbent surfaces; Delivers uniform results across long wall runs; Refreshes fences, foundations, and commercial walls
1) Protect the base and adjacent surfaces; 2) Treat algae growth with a soft-wash solution; 3) Apply a masonry-safe cleaner to efflorescence areas; 4) Rinse evenly to avoid absorption streaks
Wall length and height; Porosity and condition of the block; Presence of efflorescence alongside algae; Access and staging along the wall; Whether sealing is added to reduce future absorption
Summer is preferable because dry block accepts treatment more evenly and efflorescence is easier to resolve when the wall is not actively wicking moisture.
