What This Service Involves

Concrete block is highly porous, so Northwest moisture soaks in and feeds both green algae on the face and white efflorescence bleeding out of the block. We treat the biological growth and address the mineral crystallization with the right chemistry for each. Because block absorbs so readily, controlled application prevents streaking and uneven cleaning. Fences, foundations, and commercial block walls all come back looking uniform.

Our Process

1) Protect the base and adjacent surfaces; 2) Treat algae growth with a soft-wash solution; 3) Apply a masonry-safe cleaner to efflorescence areas; 4) Rinse evenly to avoid absorption streaks

Best Time of Year

Summer is preferable because dry block accepts treatment more evenly and efflorescence is easier to resolve when the wall is not actively wicking moisture.
