What This Service Involves

Lichen is tougher than algae or moss, anchoring into shingle and tile surfaces with root-like structures that resist simple rinsing. In our damp climate it often appears as crusty gray-green patches that spread slowly but bond tightly. We use dwell-time treatments to break lichen's grip so it can be removed without gouging the roofing. Because lichen returns easily, we finish with a preventative application to keep it from re-establishing.
